Had dose #2 of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday. It hit me a little harder than the first dose; had some chills and felt flu-ish last night and still a little wonky this morning, but overall very grateful that my workplace has such a well-run vaccine clinic. Grateful for science as well!
I have hear recommendations to get the second dose in the opposite arm. No idea if that helps but I think I might try it Tuesday.

Thanks for that tip. I just got my first shot a couple of days ago (Moderna.) So far only just a little tenderness at the injection site-no other side effects. I'm looking forward to your second shot update.

Hey @couv! I should have said suggestion not recommendation since it isn’t based on any science. Just some antidotal rumors.

I had a mild case in November and tested myself gradually- no impairment. My brother and 2others also had zero symptoms or impairment.

Just did first dive last night, no issues. Yes, media does hype this but OTOH it is devastating to some people. Turn a negative into a positive and donate convalescent plasma.

PS: Too bad you quit smoking you could have cut to the front of the vaccine line.

Yeah, hyped to 2.1+ million deaths worldwide, 420,000+ in the US... not to mention long-term affects to those who have recovered.
Remember when the media hyped 9/11, which killed fewer Americans than COVID has killed every day since December 10? Stupid sensationalist media.

I had a low dose ct scan of my chest per American Lung Association recommendations due to the years I did smoke.
Lungs are clear. My cardiologist is happy. I’m good to go.
I do have a ways to go to get fit. Covid plus me retiring last summer has added some buoyancy to me. BTW do they make a wetsuit that stretches?
