There is also a pressure-seating hatch in the bell. The rescue chamber also has a hatch and a clamp on the trunk to it. The sat system was owned, provided by, and crewed by Comex, not the Byford Dolphin or the company that owned and operated it.

Here's an image of a bell mating clamp. Some are 4-piece like this one but most are 2-pieces. Sorry for the burry image but it is the first one I came across in my stash.

The clamping system is mounted to the transfer lock that stays on deck. The bell just has a non-bolting flange or hub that the clamps engage.
