Has anyone done it? If so, how. Considering an XDEEP Zeos Wing as a possible for my Freedom Plate but it has no cam band slots.

If it's not going to damage the air cell in any way I would use a metal straight edge and a soldering iron to melt the slots in.

I make my own wings. When I cut the slots I mark where I'm going to cut them, sew a zig-zag stitch in a rectangle around it like a giant button hole, then just use a razor knife to cut on my line inside the "button hole" stitching.

Respectfully,

James

Just bolt up the wing to the plate then heat up a butter knife on the stove and melt in your slots through the plate. Or mark them with a crayon then melt them in after you take off the wing from the plate. Make sure you’re not touching any part of the air cell area only the center panel.
Takes about 5 minutes.

Yowser!..........but.........I would heat up a large nail because I am cheap (and so are nails).

How would you find yourself "in-field" without cam-slots.......air-drop?

How does, one "suddenly" find oneself without cam band slots.

I don’t know, ask Halcyon and apparently a few others. I thought everyone was putting cam band slots in their wings, but I guess not.
