I might order both kits to compare if no one can answer the question.

In the 2021 Catalog they no longer list the kit as MK17/MK19. I have not compared contents between the two.

10.117.045 - MK17/ MK17 EVO
10.719.045 -MK19 EVO Service Kit

Dealer price is identical for both kits.

Interesting. I've been getting MK17/MK19 labelled kits all year. From my source the MK19 Evo kit is more than the "dual" kit.

Just comparing some part numbers it looks like the HP Valve assembly included in the kit is different.

10.117.209 for the MK17/MK17 EVO
10.719.209 for the MK19 EVO

Reckon I can on sell, I'll get both and do a side by side.

Different part numbers aren't always indicative of an actual different part as I'm sure you know, SP often changes part number despite part being the same, I've encountered it more than once.

I still have my 1992 Scubapro Mk10/G250.
Kinda want a new regulator.
How good is the Legend?
Does it breath easy?
Or is my vintage regulator better?

I still have and use my 1968 SP MK5/109/156 regulators and can't imagine owning or using anything else. Mainly because I haven't tried one yet that is better, a few as good but not better. No SP dealer will service my regs because SP no longer makes parts for them, so now I DIY mine.
If you like your reg and it works well why switch?

@SlyStrat

I'm late to the thread but like several others I can vouch for the Legends. I've been diving them for 15 years and they've always been my go-to regs. I own 2 Legend LX ACDs and one Leg3end Elite. 650+ dives on them combined and I still love them. Never had an issue at all. I really like the ACD. It helps avoid inadvertent water intrusion. They are rock solid reliable and are incredibly good breathing regs.
