Returning to decorum and the OP:
Demis's photos and review were helpful. Thanks for pointing them out.

I'd be interesting to try one as it looks nice for sidemount.

I learned a few ideas from his deployment video within his post. Very worthwhile.

I like the hose routing for a stage setup. The LPI can be stowed very cleanly this way. Although if you dive without an LPI an apeks dst-style setup would still be equally good I guess.

I don't know if anyone is up to snuff about EN250 EU standards, but in the manual it clearly says the regulator conforms to EN250-2014, not 250a, the main standard cold water regs use right now. Does this just mean they didn't send them in for 250a testing or?

They mentioned when ordering that it's going to be EN250A. It's probably a typo.
You can clearly see that on the regulator body it says CE EN250A >4C

I avoid that site. I'm sure answers will turn up here eventually.
FB is a far better resource than SB for sidemount info. But maybe it will trickle in.

That could not be said but in jest, of places that serve a distinct purpose

So is there a better way to mount a transmitter and gauge to this first stage in sidemount. I hate how with my dive rite XT1 first stage in sidemount if you want both a gauge and transmitter one has to be sticking straight up.

Splitter block on a short hose with a button gauge.
One hose.
eBay.
