@Akimbo made something similar with a piece of PVC tubing and a D ring. I'll try to find the thread that explains how. Perhaps he'll chime in.

Edit: Here is a link to the above thread.

Hello from AL!

Does anyone have a lead on a seller or fabricator that can fashion a set of agir harpa loops? Or have any good ideas on making them myself? I’ve got some new kit coming this week and would like to try these out, but at 110 USD and 2-3 week ship time to come from overseas... doesn’t make me thrilled. Thanks all!

Dive Gear Express now has Loops for $7.50...

Get the mares sf2 loop. Basically the same thing. Or you can go homedepot and get a trailer strap hook .. I’ve been looking for one for months and can’t find it so I got the mares version for $15 use and then saw something that could have worked at Home Depot

Dive gear express sells the Mare XR SF2 loops and they recently introduced their own brand version to their product catalog/website and a very good price:

Edit: woops did not read through the entire thread before I posted...it looks like a few others already made the same recommendation.

Btw, I have my bp/w set up similar to the OMS smart stream harness using a loop on each side.

I thought I might just ask my question here instead of creating a new thread:

- Just out of curiosity, do you guys think that the Agir Harpa could be installed on a Halcyon backplate? (to avoid using the cinch system).

I don't see why not if the slots are a standard size for 2" webbing.

I have no hands-on experience with Halcyon plates specifically but from my experience with Dive Rite, HOG, and SubGravity plates, it seems like the slots for the harness waist section are fairly standard size and shape...unless Halcyon plates have unusually narrow slots there is no reason the Agir Harpa, Mares, or DGX loops can't be installed.
