Now need to figure out how to change the battery. Does anyone know?

Look at the bottom picture I posted, does the back look similar?

I'm not certain, but I think it is oil filled like an Uwatec. Battery can't be replaced.
There was a reason I never changed mine, I think that was it.

Can't say the same thing about mine. Regardless of whether the unit was oil-filled, the battery compartment was sealed.

I am still waiting for the OP to show us the back of his.

What I don't show here is that I turned the unit on prior to taking these pictures, and it started and continued dive time throughout the photoshoot.

At this posting, it is showing a 33 minute dive.

Here is a picture of the back of the unit. It is not oil filled. I think the little gray port is an overpressure plug and the large one in the center is a pressure activated switch. I don't see a way to get to the battery, except perhaps the screw-on face, but that is probably glued in place and I have not monkeyed with it yet. Any ideas?

I'm certainly not an expert, but is that a battery compartment?

Could you use a tool like this, and what appear to be two holes, and unscrew it?

Not a battery compartment, but a pressure activated switch. Great little tool there, I made one but yours looks slick.

Just changed the battery on mine. The face unscrews. There is a thin Oring to keep and clean.
Unscrew the hose swivel, then unscrew the nut at the bottom of the SPG housing. Gently turn it over and the dial should fall out. CAUTION there are two small wires connecting the housing to the gauge. Unscrew the small philips head holding the battery down.
The battery is DL1/3N.
Hope that helps.

Pretty easy! I will install a new battery tomorrow. Do you have an owners manual, or are the digital displays obvious once they appear? Still useful in 2021?
