Looks like the tanks are mounted upside down and the regulator is just sitting there. I don't see a manifold.

Could be an old Siebe Gorman twinset:

I wondered if they made something like that. Seems much easier to work the valves. That's how I rig my pony when I rig it to the tank.

What I read years ago was The Taylor’s would write television scripts that would have the heroine do something like fall into a pool of sharks. The idea being few actresses of the day would do those stunts, thus generating more work for Valerie.
