All over MA. and RI, CT, NY FL, NC, Aruba. Mostly I just take in the sights. I do some photography, catch lobsters (the kind with the claws) I did spearfish for awhile. Also dive wrecks locally
ice dive not much these days too much work. Most of my dives during the 80's where night dives, IMO the best time to dive is AFTERDARK!
    Certification History:
Certified scuba diver from NASDS. Got reissued OW card from SSI 2010. There weren't all these different cert levels I started. Experience and buddies were our teachers. Weekly diving from shore and private boats allowed us to do the diving we wanted to do. Night, wreck, ice, solo were some of the types of diving we learned by diving with those making those kinds of dives. I dived weekly year round at least one - two dives per week some weeks more from 1970 to 1992 (got my 1st dry suit 1970) my eariler years was when I was able to dive the most. After getting married my diving slowed down. I try for quality dives these days. I have a lot more experience than certs. No brag just fact. PADI AOW added in 2012

About the profile picture: ThatÂ’s me making my 1st dive into the living room rug circa 1959-1960 with the twin tanks my father made for me from wood and the mask and fins I used to watch sunfish swim around the pond where went swimming.

Born in MA. Started snorkeling @ age 10 learned to scuba @ age 14 in 1968. Dived locally regularly year around until 1992 when my last diving buddy moved away. After that became a sometime solo diver. Am married to a non-diver (water shy) with 2 grown girls also non-divers(mom's fault:). I love the outdoors and of course the ocean! Also a first time Grandfather.
My Avatar is the night diver patch we used to laugh at when night diving "certs" 1st started. We had been night diving for years before the cert. Never did get a night diving cert.
