Hey I bought a canister light from you a while ago. What did you rate it for depth? Also, recommended charging time?

Hey Andrew - sorry for not getting back to you sooner, I didn't get an email with this message for some reason. :(

I now have both an AL80 and an AL40. The AL40 is really unobtrusive, and perfect for a square profile R3 dive. I now prefer the AL80 though, because it allows me to do either...

      a) Two square profile R3 dives in one day
      b) One really cool R3 dive, with a 20-25 minute deep segment, followed by what basically amounts to a second dive on the AL80 (think Lobos, moving from the pinnacles to the <70' sites in and around the cove).

I'm a shore diver at heart, so the 80 works out great for me. That said, it's significantly bulkier, and a bit more of a pain in general. Beto can definitely offer you some advice as well.
