      I am bringing my son to Caines July1-13. Our first trip to Australia. What would you recommend as the best live aboards in terms of quality and quality of dives. We don't care that much about luxury accommodations. Just the dives. All our experience has been in Carribean and Hawaii.

    Started in 1987 when was studying Oceanography in Southampton i the UK. Got hooked on diving and worked my way up the BSAC ladder. (Also CMAS)
    Dove and worked in Malta before returning to Australia where I crossed over to PADI.
    Settled in Cairns in 1990 and been working a diver there as well as various places within Astralia and Asia.
    Became a Course Director in 1999. Dont do too mch diving now but stil love the water.

    My name is Kevin Burke and I am a PADI Course Director with over 25 years experience teaching and working as a diver around the world, as well as here in Cairns.
    I got fed up with the lack of scuba resources so decided to make a scuba travel site called Aquapro Dive Travel, as well as get involved with various forums.
    I only list companies, sites and boats I have personally worked on or with.
    Based in Cairns, we provide up to date knowledge of diving in the area, and a full range of diving tours and trips to the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea.
    I can also provide (I hope!) accurate and relevant advice on most types of diving, including commercial and technical.
