    Dive History:
We are Sarah, Aitor and Sergio, three instructors beginning our first diving business together. We are based in Labuanbajo, Indonesia, the gate to the famous Komodo National Park.

It all started a long time ago when the three of us escaped the comfortable and socially acceptable way of living to pursue a different challenge. We began to pursue the scuba diving dream instead of dreaming of the life we wanted.
When you dive with us, Asmara, passion is our drive and because of that attitude, you will get a fun, more personal treatment. We want you to experience a more environmentally friendly and responsible way of diving. Our goal in teaching is to transform you into a better and more conscious diver, always with safety as a priority.
    Certification History:
The three of us, have several years of experience teaching in different environments. Mexico, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Maldives, Spain, USA, have been the countries where we have taught during the last years.

    Sarah Miller, IDC Staff
Yoga YouTuber, Amateur Photographer and Scuba Instructor
I started diving in 2012 in Koh Tao, Thailand. I planned on being there for four days for my Open Water Course and stayed four months, moving all the way through Divemaster… It wasn’t until I went diving for the first time in California that I started to take diving more seriously and eventually decide to do my instructor training. There, I met Aitor and knew my life had changed.

After finishing my course, I went back to CA to teach in the chilly, often murky waters of the central coast. One year later, I moved my life to Mexico, dog and all. Once there, I started assisting in IDCs and teaching recreational courses in Playa del Carmen. For the last two years, Aitor and I have been a team, teaching Divemasters and IDCs.

Outside of diving, I teach yoga and love to go stand up paddle boarding with my pups. If you’re talking to us on social media, it’s more than likely that I’m the one behind the keyboard so take a second and say hello!

    Aitor Diaz, Course Director

Number 1 fan of the show, Supernatural, and Scuba Instructor
The last five years I have worked specifically on training dive professionals, combining my passion for teaching and the ocean with the second favorite thing, organizing the daily activities at Azul Unlimited.

I was born in Jaen, Spain and have always been involved with outdoor adventure sports; everything from mountaineering in the Himalayas to white water kayaking in the Andes. My goal in everything I do is to mix these adrenaline sports with teaching so that others can enjoy bringing sport and nature together as one.

In my free time, I like to be outside in the forest or on the beach, especially if it means exploring with my dog, Chala. I have also grown to appreciate sharing a good wine with my partner, Sarah and her mini satelite (also known as a dog), Abby.

    Sergio Palazuelos, MSDT

Dreamer of all the things, Philosopher and Scuba Instructor
Over five years ago, I dreamt of becoming a scuba instructor and travel all over the world making a living from my passion. In 2014 I finally did it and have been traveling ever since. I have worked in Mexico, Indonesia, Maldives and the Philippines, teaching scuba diving and sharing my passion for the ocean.

I was born in Madrid, Spain and before my life as a scuba instructor, I studied and worked as a Pharmacist. During that career, one trip to Asia completely changed my life trajectory. It was then that I realized I wanted a more mindful way of working and living, a life of Asmara (link to boat page). Another passion of mine is language and as such, I speak Spanish, English, and French as well as some Italian, Russian and Indonesian.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my friends and family, travel, transcendental discussions, board games, singing and reading. One day I would like to add playing the guitar to that list!
