I went to Futoh and dove the Kawabama Point dive site. They have showers and onsen on a cliff overlooking the site. They lay out the tanks for you on the boat ramp inside the fishermen's boat launch. Outside the protected boat ramp area is a cement set of stairs and walking ramp for divers. The week I went was not to crowded.

Also went diving in Atami. Really enjoyed the two boat dives.

I was certified by YMCA (to open water II level) as a young man in California. I have a 7mm wetsuit and did a lot of cold water dives there. I have also been boat and shore diving in Hawaii and Thailand. I am looking for inexpensive ways to keep diving in Japan. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
