I began diving in 1990 in West Virginia and made my first 60+ dives in Summersville Lake. In 1998, I went to work at PADI headquarters as a technical writer and as they Associate Editor of the Undersea Journal. From 2000 to 2011, I was the Director of Education at DAN. I currently write the Lessons for Life column for Scuba Diving Magazine and I co-authored Scuba Diving Safety with Dan Orr.

Now, I write full-time. I have authored a series of scuba thriller novels and have another series of short stories set on a fictional island in the Florida Keys.

Return to Cayman, the next scuba thriller is coming soon.
