hi, i have read your post about the hernia.
i have an inginial Hernia left side above penus.
i work as divemaster and really worried about diving, i have the hernia truss.
my question to you, how did you manage entering and exiting the water, did you feel any pain, how can you manage that.
is it ok to go underwater with the belt?

      please advice.

Just read your recent post on your cancer diagnosis. I have been following your blogs since since i found this site and also read both your scuba snobs books. I was disheartened to read you are unable to dive for awhile, I sincerely hope you beat this minor setback and continue offering humourous and knowledgeable blogs on diving! Thank you and good luck!

Dennis, sorry to bother you but I was trying to find your blog on navigation and after going through all your blogs I was unable to find it. Is there something I'm missing (lol, clearly I need to be better able to navigate the site).

I will look for it, the wife read your book today, she said it was cute, but i guess you bash smokers a bit in the beginning of it, so she was not that impressed lol
      she will live

I'm a lawyer, professor and divemaster, who has enjoyed diving for almost20 years ( I came to the sport later in life.) My dive buddy and wife is Debbie. Our "The Scuba Snobs Guide to Diving Etiquette" came out in June 2011, and the sequel, The Scuba Snobs' Guide to Diving Etiquette Book 2 came out in 2012.and both have sold very well in the US and throughout the English speaking world. Available in paperback, kindle and nook on most online web sites.
