      Hi Gangreless,

I have heard nothing about diving in Lake James.

I have done shore dives off Ocean View and I made a shore dive at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.

I keep telling myself I am going to do a shore dive off Sandbridge the way we do shore dives off Nag's Head, but I have not tried it yet.

A one time, some instructors were using the lake between Greenwich Rd and 264 for teaching. They had to get specific permission from the owner.

Hey Don! I'm new to diving and, as a Chesapeake resident, I'm looking for dive spots in the city. I was wondering if you had any suggestions other than something like Lake Rawlings. Someone mentioned Lake James, which is in Virginia Beach, right around Indian River and Kempsville. Have you heard anything about it?
