    Certification Agencies:
    Dive History:
I dive a local private quarry mostly since it's so close to home. But I also dive local commercial quarries. I take a trip to Florida about once a month, either Pensacola (salt water wreck diving) or High Springs (cave diving). Once or twice a year I go for a more exotic trip: San Juan Islands in the Pacific Northwest, Cayman Brac, Bonaire....
    Certification History:
YMCA, NAUI, up through Instructor (I currently teach NAUI classes). TDI for the advanced stuff (deco, extendend range, trimix). NSS/CDS and NACD for the cave certs.
    Certification Level:
    Decompression Procedures
    Dive Classification:
Instructor / Assistant Instructor / Dive Master / Dive Con
    Years Certified:
    Ten Or More Years
    Dive Equipment:
I have at least one of just about everything and two or three of most! Mostly dive backmount doubles with backplate and wing (open water and caves), but teach in basic jacket BC with single Al80.
    Rebreather Experience:
I am male, 56 years old, a college professor. I took up diving a little more than 10 years ago at the insistence of my wife. I reluctantly joined her in the class she was taking, and the rest is history! I loved it; she didn't; we got divorced and I eventually remarried a woman with two daughters became a scuba instructor and now the whole family dives!
