Hi, I was looking for info on Belews Lake and found your post. I am in Afghanistan right now and hoping to be home in a couple weeks for 2 weeks of much needed R&R. I am itchin to get wet and thought that Belews would be the best spot. Any idea what the conditions might be about now, where the thermocline is setting or any good spots when I might do a decent shore dive? I dive wet too, I do have a toasty Waterproof Aries 7mm suit that holds the heat in well. My other thought was taking a dive around Morehead city if i can find one. Belews would be the best option as I really wont have a lot of time available to me.
