Ugh! Teaching started the past couple weeks, so I've been crazy busy getting ready. Haven't been able to check in. Sep 8, 2017

I begin my diving adventure tomorrow (8/12/17) - Open Water 1. I'm nervous and excited. I hope I catch on quickly.

I decided to change my username from Dr. Buzzetta to my Xbox gamer tag - El Hefe 612. It's so hard deciding on what to call yourself.

In retrospect, I'm second-guessing my username choice. It's so hard to decide in the heat of the moment, then you're stuck for all eternity.

Well... Just made my first major equipment purchase on the road to becoming a diver. I want to learn on my own equipment. I'm excited!!

Hi, I'm a newer diver and I can see the benefit of having your own equipment. I have my own BC and first stage. I also have a tank but it's a bit heavy to bring that along!!!!

Just exploring information posted on dive equipment. Since I am new to diving, I want to purchase the best options for my diving goals.

My husband and I have been together over 22 years (yes I'm gay). I hold a Ph.D. in Education: Curriculum & Instruction - Family, Youth, and Community with a focus on parent and family education. I am also a licensed parent educator in the state of Minnesota. I have been teaching parent education for over 20 years, and I have written a book. My husband doesn't dive or snorkel, so I'll be looking for a dive buddy once I finish my training. I'm very laid back and tend to be humorous, though I can be very serious when needed.
