- Dive History:
- I began my open water course in April 2003 followed by my advanced open water. Took the next three years to log dives and experience different environments to diversify my log book including diving for my employer for about four years doing repairs on submerged equipment and conducting inspections(working with tools underwater can be really grueling I learned lol). In late 2006 met with my original instructor and after reviewing my log book he agreed I was ready to move forward and allowed me to take my rescue and master diver courses together( I know.....that's a lot at one time) but we all know when it rains it pours and due to some personal problems had to discontinue the instruction. After making my personal matters right was looking to pick back up and finish when I got an e-mail Wayne(my original instructor) had passed away and then a year later a good friend and dive buddy Dave also passed. With everything that had happened took some time to regroup. Now I am back at it!!

I finished growing up in the panhandle of Florida and spent a good amount of time on the beach. As with all of us, adulthood came for a visit one day and never left....lol. Life has been a grab bag of surprises for me, but I finally met my soul mate and together we have our little girl (yes....a dive buddie in the making!!) and before me she was never really into aquatic sports (I am a bad influence...lol) and now she is considering taking her open water and we all kayak. We want to raise our little girl with a love for the outdoors and nature in general. I try to influence anyone I can and over the years have gotten a good number of my friends into diving and even my sister is planning on getting her open water. Hope this helps everyone to get to know me and welcome all to contact me. For the rest of the story it will be in the other sections.Interact
