I was first certified in 1962 at the local YMCA when I lived in Connecticut. We later moved to Iowa and I gave up Scuba for other priorities. My daughter's 2005 wedding at Caneel Bay in the USVI provided the opportunity to do some snorkeling in what could only be described as near perfect conditions. Doing so rekindled my interest in Scuba and upon my return home to Iowa, I got certified to dive again through the LDS. Both of my daughters are also certified.
