    I was in the USNavy from 1979-83 so I've been around the oceans, I was certified in 1981 and have been going full tilt since then, I was on the USS Samuel Gompers in the navy(AD-37) and for the shakedown of the USS CARL VINSON.
    And I'm currently trying to do my part with the other instructor's in my area by providing lessons and certifications(OW) to our returning servicemen at no cost to them, to help them "get back into everyday life).It's the least we can do to keep our countries free!!And to thank them!!!As of today (8-12-07) I've had the pleasure of certifying 9 new "guppies"!! :)

    I am a 49 yo male living in Canada, MB to be exact, I'm an instructor DCBC NAUI SSI CERTS. and also a PSDiver.My certs. include trimix, deep deco, ice, recovery, PSD4, CCR/SCR,altitude,DPV,wreck, cave/cavern,night, deep air,and a multitusde of others.I hold an MSDT and I also fly.I have over 2600 logged dives,(2744) to be exact as of this date, July23.I have just finished certifying 4 returning servicemen that served in Afghanistan and was on the underwater council that recommended that all of the local instructors do their bit to help our guys return to a normal way of life, by giving them the pleasure of diving, I have another 8 scheduled for the next month.I am also an active contributor to PSDMonthly, an online magazine for public safety divers, and with the continuing education division of the magazine also, Hi Chuck!!I chose theEagle/Remeber Avatar to honour the brave men and women of the NYPD/NYFD whose gave their lives, so thers may live-9-11 and to the PSD's who had to search the rivers and harbours!! I'm glad my PSD brothers made it home/ that signals mission complete!!
