Rather than be one of the minions that attack/defend various organizations hijacking OP threads, I thought I'd put my 2 cents in on PADI DSAT. I'm a DSAT Tec Deep Instructor and Trimix Diver. I learned from one of the best and they can teach every major organization out there. The primary reason they prefer the PADI program is the additional dive requirements. PADI also has great training materials. Some can and will make fun of dated pictures in and on the book (of which I agree) however it's amazing how folks base their opinion on random posts. It's also amazing how so many arm chair quarterbacks with more posts than dives are the most guilty of this. I tell any of my potential students to take their time and research for themselves which organization and instructor they would get the most from.
