      Greetings Sully,
Welcome to Colorado! I can't help you much in your quest, as I live further south (and a little higher in elevation) than you are looking. Other than to say, there are a great many choices available within our state. How strange is seems to have so much to choose from and be so far from the water!
I am affiliated with Underwater Connection in Colorado Springs and find them very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I too am working my way (VERY slowly however) towards DM and beyond.
I hope you can find what you are looking for. Many new friends are here waiting for you. This is not a shameles plug for anything, I'm just another diver. :)
