I have taken up scuba (again) during a phase of mid-life opportunities. I have lived in Abu Dhabi for almost 14 years and love living by the water. My 11 year old daughter did OW with me in 2005. She is an adventurous soul.

I initially came as a professor at Zayed University which at that time was an all women's university. I progressed to the position of Assistant Dean. New challenges called and I joined Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi when it was a construction site.

I am also passionate about drumming. I have a collection of drums and a drum set. My family is patient with me and have allowed me to have a drum room.

I am also interested in the arts and have formed and led the Abu Dhabi Oriental Carpet Club for about 6 years. I have given many lectures and workshops about oriental carpets to local and regional groups.

I look forward to diving and dive holidays with my family. I am grateful that this Scubaboard community exists and I look forward to learning and perhaps contributing from time to time.
