I've always been fascinated by ocean critters. I drew picture after picture of whales especially all through gradeschool. When we would swim in pond, river, or pool, I preferred to wear goggles and be under the water as opposed to on top of it. One of my dreams would be to snorkel with a humpback whale (since they don't like the bubbles from dive gear). I should have been a marine biologist, but was not raised to dream big. I was very fortunate that my boyfriend (now husband) paid for me to get certified and introduced me to a world I never would have thought was open to me. One of these days I hope to live somewhere with easier access to good warm water diving (I chill easily).
