    Dive History:
Started diving in Hawaii when stationed there in 1975-78. Certified NAUI Scuba Diver in 1978. Layed off for a lot of years, and then got back in the water in 2000 with a refresher and checkout dive with SCUBA in St. Croix. Got serious about freshwater diving in Michigan, with a drysuit and all the cold water gear in 2002. Dived the Keys, St. Thomas, St. Martin, Barbados, and other islands on vacations and cruises. Moved to Florida in 2005 and just about had to quit diving due to starting a new tractor business in Okeechobee. Lasted nearly two years, dove Jupiter, Islamorada, Key Largo and Cozumel in those two years. Now working as a mechanic/welder for Lykes Ranch, and getting away on weekends to dive the keys!
    Certification History:
1978, NAUI Scuba Diver Cert in Hawaii, instructors name was Joe Ho. 2002, PADI Advanced Open Water Cert with Ocean Quest in Islamorada, Florida Keys.

Evolved quickly to a backplate rig when diving the Great Lakes in a dry suit. Still use (and love) that rig, with my 3mil wet suit for use here in Florida. Sold all my cold water stuff on eBay more than a year ago.
