      Have you checked out flights..we live in Bournemouth. London-Bali return with Qatar airways is 698 for the 2 of us. Hence going again in November.

      Matahari has a pool and dive centre, check out their site. Make sure its the Matahari at Tulamben, right on beach, by wreck, drop off and coral gardens.

        Hi there, thanks very much for the info, will check out Matahari. I think that is one of the places we've been considering.
        We booked our flights for May a few days ago ; Going with Thai airways as going to Thailand for a week first. Considered emirates as they fly from Gatwick but the flight times (plus direct flights with kids) works out better with Thai.

        You got a great price with Qatar!
        We're planning on going to gili air first then boat to Amed from there for Tulamben for a few days. Considering either Padang Bali or candidasa for last 3 or 4 nights...have you been to either of those?
