I love to travel and have spent a lot of time in the Indian sub continent starting 42 years ago, as well as the Himalayas, Indonesia and the South Pacific. I have been to Africa, but not for diving and traveled in Europe as well. I love seeing the architecture, meeting the local people and shopping for handmade jewelry and textiles. I studied the costume and textile traditions of Kachch, Gujarat and curated an exhibition with a catalog on the subject in 1979. I still love going to visit the people I met there. I am married and have 2 daughters.
