I have personally been to a depth of 85m on my Submatix CCR with the oversight of Don and have done numerous deep dives in the Red Sea to 60m plus...

I was born in Rhodesia / Zimbabwe many moon's ago and moved to South Africa after the first Rhodesia war. I was in Durban for a short while but grew up in Johannesburg. I started diving finally in 2005 after many years of envying my friends who already where. I must say it grabbed a hold of me in a most interesting way and I decided I liked being in the water more then on terra firma. I have dived my way through Padi Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Diver, Wreck Diver, Altitude Diver, Deep Diver, Night Diver, Rescue Diver, Master Scuba Diver, IANTD Rebreather Submatix XT and finally Padi Dive Master.

I have been fortunate enough to have dived in Mozambique, Kenya, Zanzibar, Egypt, Red Sea, Cayman Islands, The Bahamas and almost everywhere in South Africa. I have also done some technical diving with Don Shirley who was involved in the tragic Bosemansgat 250m dive in South Africa. I personally dived to a depth of 85m on my Submatix CCR with the oversight of Don and have done numerous deep dives in the Red Sea to 60m plus...
