Zak - quick silly question - is it possible to purchase a new Comfort wrist pad for my Icon? I can't seem to find a part # or even a mention of it anywhere except this forum

      Hi there!
My name is Kye Johnson and I am an employee at Sharkys Scuba. I have dove with everything Mares in our store and I love it the best out of everything we carry. I wanted to know if there was a way to become more specialized with Mares and equipment maintenance. Is there a license or class I could take or anything I could do? Thanks!

Hi Zak, I have a Mares Proton that needs a new front cover (which broke from age?). The Proton Metal Cover is supposed to fit (after reading this board). Parts Proton Metal 46200525 or Proton 46200632 (Non Metal?). I would like to have 2 made out of metal so they dont break over time. Are these parts in stock ? Thank you

I dove both the mares puck pro and suunto zoop novo, at the same time on 17 dives.
I found that on all three, I had much less no decompression time then on the Suunto. With both computers set to the same mix and both on my arm each dive, the mares was reading up to 25 min. Less time no deco time. Should I send the mares in for an evaluation?

I have a Mares hard set and soft set.I got a KWay PVC Duffle Bag and the colour of the bag fits with the Mares set.I got a "Mares justaddwater" sticker that I put on the bag which looks bad.It would be a marketing benefit to you if you could organize me a native Mares logo that i can go to a print shop to print on or send me a sticker that as you pull it off the logo stays behind and the clear plastic can be removed.

      Hi Zak,

We recently purchased a Mares Viper 90 speargun for a lionfish hunt. For some reason, it did not come with an owner's manual, and I couldn't find one online to download. We want to be sure we are using it safely. Any suggestions?

Zak. I have a Mares Icon HD that's out of warranty. Have a trip coming soon and the main (wrist) unit battery died. I saw your posts on this on the board. I have the new battery, but not sure how to orient the plug when I put it into the unit (which way the prongs face). Do you have a picture or video you can send? It's hard to see inside to check that. I don't want to damage it by forcing the wrong way.

      Hi Zak,

I am a dive shop owner in Saipan, as I want to be a dealer of Mares but could not find the information who I can contact, would you please sent me the mail or phone number of the person that could help me with the issue in this district?

      Thank you so much!

... These are the first regulators we own, so I would like to know whether this normal for new regulators?

We are going on a liveaboard in Egypt in a couple of weeks, and I want to make sure that the equipment is in order.

      Many thanks,
      Spyros (end :-))
