Dacor Transcend

Is anybody using a Dacor Transcend?
I have the opportunity to buy one new for 189 euro (+/-$245) instead of the normal price of 499 euro.. I need a dive computer in two months and this is the cheapest I've come across, but I'd like some feedback from people who have been using it..

i would be careful buying anything with Dacor on it because after Mares bought out Dacor, they quit making repair parts for a lot of the stuff and if you need work done on it, you could be out of luck. check out the thread i started on my Dacor regs.

thanks, I'm not going to buy it.

I just found a spanish thread and, if I interpret it the right way (google/translate_t), they're not too positive and one guy returned it after a lot of trouble with the shop.

I can find only two other pages on the web with information on the transcend, one of which is the dacor website. That can't be positive..
