Surface temp 68 degrees,
25' 60 degrees
40' 51 degrees
My computer shows average dive temperature at 60 degrees.
Vis I would say was around 25' in the shallower water, there was
one area we went through at 40' that vis dropped to around 10'.

My group's observations were the same as Chris'. One additional note to those heading to FRP soon...there's a lot of thick algae on everything, so watch your buoyancy and fin kicks. Every downward kick sends up a cloud and destroys the visibility, so please fin carefully...

Looking to dive at Joe's on 05-21-05, are they open to the public or just instructors right now? How much is the entrance fee? Any other info would be great.

Thanks,

Open to the public, fee $15, no air fills on site. I'm planning on being
out there that weekend with Kenny, Sun just afternoon. Shoot me a
PM if you want to meet up with us. I'm in SC right now doing a training
seminar for another company, I'll be checking my mail again when I get
back to Louisville, your welcome along.

Good news, temp at 40' is up a couple of degrees to 53f.

Bad news, vis has gone downhill, 10'-12', please keep off the bottom!

That little graph is pretty cool. Your dive computer do that?
Anyway, Went to Joes 6/10/05. Surface temp: 80, at the cabin cruiser (35ft): low 60s. Viz was ok: 5-10'... ish. Happy diving kids!
