I appreciate the feedback and am glad you got the good DVD. As far as the Essentials vs. Intro to Tech we decided that the Essentials would focus on Trim/Buoyancy/Kicks and Basic 6 with less emphasis on OOA and Valve drills. We wanted to ensure that recreational divers got a basic overview without to much detail (hence no voice over/ Grease pencil). When we did the Intro to Tech our feeling was the diver should have the basics down (Trim/buoyancy/kicks) and therefore we placed less emphasis on them and more on OOA, valve drills stage bottle use and so on. We included much more detail and explanation. As we move to the Tech DVD (still in the editing room) we are adding even more detail and skills to ensure the learning continues. I got a PM that asked us to add a classroom session about Rock Bottom which we will do as well as other fun stuff.

Yes, that would be my one request -- beef up the written portion. The video is excellent.

I had bad discs for both the Essentials and Intro to Tech. Still waiting for the replacements to get shipped back. Of the few scenes I saw, I thought the video was great. Would have liked to have voice overs on the Essentials DVD as I feel that helps explain the skill better. Looking forward to seeing the full videos.

Andrew, any chance on bringing a X-Scooter Demo weekend to the Chicago area?

Hi everyone,

I'm excited to announce that we''ve streamlined our DVD order process to make it even easier.

So if you've been holding out waiting to order your DVD's, now's the time to do so. You'll no longer have to wait for us to get back from the road, tired, distracted, and slightly burned out. Instead, cleanly shaven, freshly scrubbed professionals will deal with your every desire. . .related to DVD's. The DVD's themselves have not changed, but rather they are now shrink-wrapped to increase freshness, and professionally created from a dedicated facility.

The production facility is ready to accept your order, so click on the links below to start the process now!
