I'm a Fish!
My Oly 5050 housing suffered a minor wound today. The red plastic bit that attached the latch area to the housing itself has broken on one screw. It's the screw that holds the red bit to the housing. Looks like the guy applied way too much pressure and snapped the screw out of place.

We can't remove the screws at this stage - they are in tight. So is there any way to screw it back in once the part that holds the screw to the housing is snapped off? Or do I need to replace the whole housing now?

Any help appreciated as I need to let him know what he will be charged!

Alcina take some pictures of the wound and post them. I'm an enginner and I'm sure there are others that could help.

The screws may be epoxied in, which is why you can't remove them. If so then you might be able to loosen the epoxy with either heat or a solvent.
