Just wondering what you think the correct protocol would be if you were a dive instructor and one of your students asked your opinion....

Are you pro-fish-feeder

or anti-fish-feeder

??

Dr Jay,

The fish at the Hudson Grotto have developed a fondness for spit. There are huge catfish, blue gill...and other aquatic type animals with little fins. I havn't seen one of the turtles yet go after spit though.:D

In the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary it is illegal to feed fish anything except natural food (in other words fish). Cheeze wiz is widely known as unhealthy for fish.
