Canadian Waters

Does anyone have experience diving/exploring/salvage on the Canadian side of Lake Superior? If I wanted to deploy side scan sonar and ROV in those waters for commercial reasons, do I need any special permits from the Canadian Government?

Yes. Canadian waters are under the juristiction of the goverment and you will need all sorts of permits for that.

You can try the coast guard as well as the local Fish and Wildlife or MTO
