I've had good luck with these guys... I believe their "no charge for an estimate" is still in place. I think Southern charges... or at least used to....

But seriously, I mean this with the utmost respect. He is very knowledgeable. Perhaps the most knowledgeable Nikonos person there is. He will just be glad to let you know if you have been maintaining your camera anything less than perfect

At Southern Nikonon you will also get all the o-rings replaced. They bought the tooling to make some of the o-rings. Other places only clean and replace some of the o-rings.
So, wherever you go ask them, "Do you replace all internal o-rings?"
I have used Southern for many years and never had a problem with then. The work is quality, quickly done, and shipped back usualy within 7 to 10 days.
