I wouldn't say "all" the good wrecks are on the Canadian side, but there is a pretty good margin. We've not run into issues with customs, mostly because we don't get that close to land. The way it was explained to us by customs on both sides was that if you're within hailing distance, you need to clear customs. On the Niagara or St. Lawrence this is more of an issue than the middle of Lake Erie. If it ever gets to the point that we need to clear customs just for crossing a line in the middle of the lake, we'll hang it up. It just wouldn't be worth the bother.
