Lightest, smallest regulator

My daughter just started diving last year and at the age of 12 was looking for a small lightweight regulator. She's well on her way to jnr Rescue Diver in the next couple of months and wanted to get her own reg rather than renting all the time. I finally got her an Apeks XTX50 and she absoluyely loves it. Now she asks why I didn't get her the 200!!!!

It may not be the lightest reg, but it's quality and she doesn't notice the weight in the water.

Heck, I took my cat diving before he was 8. Didn't hurt him. He couldn't handle a regulator so I had to use a full helmet fed by a Micra adjusted for freeflow.

Yeah, I've seen that cat.
