Not really anything new. They don't like cross posting. Put it in the appropriate forum and enter it once. Not saying I agree or disagree ... just saying that they frown upon cross posting the same question in multiple forums. They will typically remove one of them.

All I did was ask kpp and great lakes groups if anybody new why scubaquest closed.

When I goto Scuba board I just go to the certain forms I don't goto every thread.

I understand. They seem to forget that some of us live on the boundaries of more than one geographic forum. Central Indiana falls in GLWC, KPP and even Midwest Muck Divers. If you want to cover all of them you have to post in all of them. But sometimes that fact gets lost on some.

What's going on Guys & Gals?:D What's going on with everyone? Anyone got any trips planned soon? Courses coming up? New gear you can't wait to try out? How's everyone getting through this cold spell as of late? When's your next, or for some, first dive of the year? Hope everyone is well.:blinking::):14:

Just did EFR and working on Rescue to be ready of the course this summer, also found an Equipment Specialist Course (figured i be a good one to do in the cold). got some new gear also but want to finish out my kit soon too. nothing planed dive wise yet

Well, for me it looks like I've got a lot on the stove right now & a lot planned. Course- wise, it looks like I'll be finishing my Adv. Nitrox & Decompression, I'm currently working on Nitrox gas blending & will probably also do Adv. gas blending. I am planning on doing a cavern course & if that goes well, maybe Intro to Cave (we'll just have to wait & see on that). My instructor is also pushing for me to go on to OW instructor (maybe late in the year). I have 2 trips planned. The first in June with my LDS on the Cat Ppalu (an all ladies trip). The second trip is just a bunch of us from another diving board getting together on Blackbeard's in Sept. My next dives...... well, I may do another quarry dive in March (Pennyroyal is supposed to sink a cabin cruiser sometime in March). I know for sure I will be going down to Vortex Springs at the end of March to help out with some OW checkout dives. I will also continue to help out with OW classes at my LDS & also help out with Pennyroyal's OW classes. Going to be busy, busy, busy...........

No trips planned at the moment but may go to Hawaii this year to visit a daughter soon to be stationed there. She comes back from the middle east in a few more weeks. Might look into a Great Lakes trip not sure about that though. Will soon be going to Laurel Lake to checkout the Craigs creek area, which is were I did my OW cert dives back in '94.

Currently been hitting the pool up in Maysville, working on breath holding and some additional confidence skills. Also do some prep work for an up coming Advanced rescue course. Trying also to create a website. Looking to place an equipment order for the spring. Will soon begin prep work for an OW course for JP's daughter.

Speaking of pool work. I was in the pool a few days ago and with just aswim suit and managed to get neutrally buoyant for just a short time while doing breath hold practice. That was kind of neat being suspnded motionless in the water without the BC etc, etc.

Anxiously awaiting my books for Adv. Nitrox and deco.
Trip to the St. Lawrence river is planned.

No more new gear as of yet but looking at maybe buying a set of Worthington HP100's. Might wait till later this summer for that.

We are going on a cruise in April. We're going to dive in Barbados and Dominica. Then we are going back to Bonaire in July. So we do have trips planned this year but not for a few more months.

We've been diving dry at Mermet some on days when I'm not working and hubby isn't working on his dive master class. I'll dive dry until June, but I wish the water would warm up a bit anyways. I'm ready for spring!

sounds like everyone has alot going on. my plans are all for the 1st have of the year as its still up in the air if the second have will be in the sand box or not. if not there will be a wreck dive course and a trip in there some where.
