Hey All,

Here are some pictures from my recent dive trip to Curacao. Underwater pics were taken with an Olympus SP-350, ikelite housing, and DS-125 strobe. Other pics were taken with various cameras. Flickr has the details with each picture if you are interested.

Curacao Dive Vacation - a photoset on Flickr

Can't wait until the next big trip!!!

What are all those pictures of people doing in there? What, was it some sort of vacation?

Loved the pics, looks like a great time.

I really liked your photos, and especially appreciated the fact that you posted them in flickr so I could view them in large size. So many people post dinky-size uw photos in the 640 pixel width or smaller that the pics lose their impact. I'm also impressed by the coral growth and abundance of fish in Curacao that are evident in your pics. Thanks for posting.

Man, did you tangle with some fire coral??? Nice pix. going next week to Curacao!!!!

Yes ouch! on the jellyfish!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think you just made my mind up for me on skin or no skin for Grand Cayman in April!!!!!!!!

yeah, I wore a full suit every dive... Except for that 1 snorkelling adventure at the Marriott. I usually wear a skin when snorkelling too... But foe some reason I rushed to the beach without it. Murphys law I guess! Anyway, it was quite interesting trying to get the kitchen to give me a big glass of vinegar. 30 minutes later all the swelling was gone, and the only sign of the sting while I was at the craps table in the casino was the fact that I reeked of vinegar! Haha!

So you were salad man for awhile! I usually put the vinegar in my ears so I hear ya! I get a lot of comments from the kids. Curacao is great it was our first post cert dive vacation and we stayed at Breezes. I wish we had stayed at the Marriot or even further to the west end for diving sake. We did dive one day with Habitat and the sites were really nice. The rest of the time we shore dived at Jan thiel and Tug Boat oh and in the SeaQuarium.

Yeah, the Marriott was fantastic, but next time I would like to have my home base out of the west end..... and maybe get some of that elusive iguana soup. (already had the goat stew!)
