Going to Grand Cayman on May 6th for 10 days. Wife and couple friends are all non-divers, but love to snorkel. Anyone else going to be down there that wouldn't mind having an extra person around for some shore dives?

We will be staying on the north side of George Town near Seven Mile Beach at at the Harbour View apartments, which I understand is right near the wreck of the Callie. I dove Devil's Grotto while on a cruise recently and loved it. No other experience diving in Grand Cayman. Any suggestions for a lone diver interested primarily in shore dives would be appreciated.

Any local dive shops where you can pick up tanks that have lots of shore divers that I could likely join up with? Especially if there would be nice snorkeling for my friends. I don't mind revisiting the same site if there is lots of interesting structure and critters.

PM me. I will be happy to take you on a shore dive or 2, and introduce you to other local divers.

OR - good places to link up with divers are: Eden Rock, Sunset House, & Turtle Reef (SunDivers). The best hours for linking up are 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 1:30 - 3:00 PM. After 3, it gets tough.

Next week is the time. Getting stuff packed, arranging for rental car and the like. Really excited about the trip and counting the days. Can't wait to get back into that beautiful Caribbean water!!!
