There is a thread here about a deep dive to the Princess of the Orient a couple of weeks ago that Ross Hemingway, the V-Planner guy, was on with us. he had the X1 and let one of the deep teams use it. It is quite an amazing piece of kit. It worked well on the 120M dive and you can just tap it to change information. All the deep guys liked it. The only problem is they can't keep up with production and there is about a 2 month waiting list I think. Here is a photo of Mike Taylor using one.

Heh!

You gotta love that hat!

I was looking into the X1. I wish they handled their battery or warranty differently. They give a one year warranty and the battery is not replaceable. If the battery fails after the first year you have to purchase a new computer. Even if they said there was a discount on the trade in of some sort I would be interested.

Again, nice hat

Is a deco computer even Hogarthian? Certainly not a minimalist peice of kit with all the features and gizmos.
