You got a two-knot scooter. 80 feet is about a half-mile offshore at Coral St.

More like a 1.76 knot scooter...

From empirical data, I estimate my scooter speed to be about 150 ft per minute at which 0.5 miles can be covered in 17.6 minutes. Close enough to 15 for me.

Do you not believe me?

I believe you. My point was the typical beach diver isn't going to hit 80' there.

Except I am the one who asked about achievable depths, and with a scooter I too am not your typical beach diver either :D

Wish I knew how fast...errr slow my scooter is.
