Can anyone give me some advice? I've just bought a Canon D90 camera body with no lenses. Does anyone have experience of using one for underwater photography who could give me some advice as to the best lenses to buy? Thanks!

I am a HUGE fan of the Tokina 10-17mm FE lens on the D90. My favorite macro is the 60mm. I also own a 105 but the 60 allows me to take some slightly wider photos as needed unlike the 105 does.

See this previous thread http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/nikon-niche/252871-must-have-lenses.html in the Nikon niche, as well as a few others. In general, for underwater shooting your best bets are either the old Nikkor micro 60 AF-D or the new 60 AF-S depending on your budget, the 105 micro VR if you're in clear water and want to shoot really tiny stuff at a distance that won't make them run away, and for wide shots either the Tokina 10-17mm, the Nikkor 12-24 or the Nikkor 10mm FE.
My personal choices for my D300, which is for all intents and purposes the same camera in a sturdier and slightly more featured package, will be the AF-D 60mm and the 10-17 Tokina.

Everything these guys said.....easy....

Having said that, I have so so many lenses which I use topside too.....nasty expensive habit
