Please tell me more about the Mares 1 kg quick-release weight from the Pure Instinct group:

Does the belt pass through the weigh and the orange lever keep if from sliding or can the weight attach without passing the webbing end? What is the M$RP?
 
The belt passes through the weight and the orange lever locks it in place.

Sorry, we do not have this item in the US so I do not know the MSRP.
