Now we have had so much fun with the windlass challenge I thought somebody would like a bigger challenge. See if you can figure out what this is, where it is from and what date.

If I'm not mistaken, that's an antique sash belt buckle from the victorian era.

Yep that is definitly two very blurry pictures of a belt buckle.

Sorry about that-- fixed the size. I'm not a photographer. These were taken on a Leica 4.3 megapix camera in 2001.... it did poorly on close up pictures, hence the blurry...
