Manta Ray Video

Hello Everyone,

I was recently looking through some of my old video's from last season and came across this. It was shot out in the Similan Islands, Thailand. I was diving with my dad at the time and this was his first Manta Ray. It was a good size, around 5 meters+ wing tip to wing tip.

I was diving at from around 15m at the start, up to 5m at the end when he comes over my head. The camera I was using was a Canon G9 with the Canon Housing. Thanks for your comments.

I just LOVE the mantas
Ive seen 8-10 of them, all shallower than 20 meters. Theire so relaxing and impressive.

Hi Tigerman,

Sometimes I have been lucky enough to see 8-10 individuals on a single dive here in Thailand. For me the are the best creatures in the ocean. They are so fantastic to watch as they glide around the water. I will post another great video I have of one soon.
