Not worth the pics, just some bulls, lemons, one sand tiger, and one bottom tip meg frag about 1 and 1/4" long. It was my girlfriends 3rd or 4th dive since getting certified, the tide was going out, and it was getting choppy. So, I opted to not go too far out. I did see an out-of-stater come back with a nice intact meg from Service Club Beach though.

So, the blocks are new? Last time I went about a year and a half ago there was only the 2' ledge reef, unless I have just missed the artificail reef all these years.

Oooof, I can't remember exactly how long they've been there. At least a couple of years though.

They put them in not long after they finished the beach renourishment project.

I think the blocks were put in Feb 08.

Sounds about right..I think it was January though. I was here on vacation with my brother (before I moved here) and we were at Venice beach watching them put the blocks in.
